Kelsey Eby, Blues Volleyball Club Director, 14 Power Head Coach

Kelsey grew up playing for Rose City Volleyball Club, Athena Volleyball Academy, and Central Catholic High School.  Following graduation in 2009, she continued her playing career as a setter at the University of Charleston in West Virginia until she graduated in 2013.  She received her Bachelors in Sports Administration and then began her coaching career as Head JV coach at the University of Charleston Beckley while completing her Masters in Strategic Leadership.  She currently work full time along with being Head Varsity Coach at St. Mary’s academy.

Lisa Thompson, Blues Volleyball Club Manager

This is Lisa’s first year as the Blues Volleyball Club Manager. Lisa’s daughter Bailey has been a part of the Blues Volleyball Club for the past 2 years, and now Lisa has the volleyball bug too.  She has three kids total, and combined they have competed in over 9 sports over the years.  Lisa is devoted to all things athletic for sure. Go BLUES! 


Jordan Thorpe, 12 Force Head Coach

This will be Jordan's second season coaching with the Blues. Last year, Jordan was the head coach of the U16’s team. She started playing volleyball when she was 9 years old on her 4th grade team. At 11, she began playing club, and continued to play competitively through high school. Jordan remained active in intramurals during college at the University of Portland and continues to play for adult leagues in the Portland area. 

Hope Alexander, 14 Force Head Coach

Hope's biggest passion is to coach to lead student athletes with compassion and help build character with hard work and integrity, leading by example.  Hope was the head coach for the 12 Power team last year, and is looking forward to another great season.  Hope has 10 years of playing volleyball and 4 years of coaching to contribute to the Blues. 

Stephanie Eby, 16 Power Head Coach

Stephanie’s playing career consisted of playing for Rose City Volleyball Club and Central Catholic High School.  She graduated in 2008 and from there decided to focus on nursing.  She graduated from Linfield College with a BSN in Nursing in 2012.  Stephanie has been coaching for over 10 years, and is looking forward to working with the Blues this year
